The Trundle Showground (Austral Street) will be the WoW Competition Headquarters. The Showground offers camping and caravan accommodation at reasonable prices, powered ($15 per night) and un-powered sites ($10 per night), toilets and showers, van dump site and pet friendly.
Good value and in the heart of the Competition headquarters. Plenty of space. Facilities are good and recently modernised. Plenty of options for shelter from sun and rain if necessary. Showground Pavilions will be used for mid-comp Dinner/bush dance and kitchen facilities are available.
Contact Peter Kelly firstname.lastname@example.org for reservations. Peter also has a small number of tents available for hire if you need one. These tents used as glamping options during Trundle ABBA festival.
Peter has 3 tents available - two suitable for max 3 people and 1 for max 5.
There is no bedding furniture so if you can arrange your own bedding then this could be an ideal share arrangement. The cost is $200 for the duration of the competition- including light and power outlet. Shared among three people this is just over $12 per night for the tent hire.
Hotel / Pub Style
Trundle Hotel has rooms and full information is available from the Hotel. The owners are slowly renovating what is the archetypical country town pub with heaps of history. Rooms are basic with shared bathroom down the corridor, hot water is hot, bedding is clean and tidy and comes with a lot of pride. I have stayed there recently and was not disappointed with the restful sleep I got. Rooms are air-conditioned.
The pub is popular with the locals, and will be the focus point for Pool and Pizza night during the competition. Great upstairs verandah to enjoy a late afternoon drink out of the sun.

I have stayed there recently and found the rooms clean and comfortable. Each unit has its own bathroom and mini kitchen. Units are air conditioned and vary in the size and number of beds. Great for family or shared accommodation. 2 minutes drive from competition headquarters. These units are popular with passing tourists and workers so don’t leave it long to book.
Units are 20 metres from the quite modern Services Club which will be a focus for some social activities. The Services Club has a Chinese restaurant.
I have stayed there recently and was pleased with the comfort and facilities available.

Located in the back streets of Trundle it is a quiet location away from the main road. I haven’t stayed there myself but it looks well cared for and I am sure comes with the typical Trundle hospitality.

I haven’t stayed there myself but it looks inviting and comes with the typical Trundle hospitality. For those of you arriving by horse, the stables are a real catch.
